Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm a solo developer and a heavy Markdown user. I write notes in Obsidian and read a lot of READMEs, but every mobile Markdown app I tried mangled tables, code blocks or math. So I built MdViewer to render .md on Android exactly like desktop.
It handles tables, syntax-highlighted code (Kotlin, Python, JSON…), LaTeX math (inline $..$ and block $$..$$), task lists and wiki links [[name]]. Point it at any folder, use the outline (TOC), in-document search, bookmarks and highlights. There's an editor with live preview, PDF/HTML export, and GitHub import — type owner/repo and it pulls the whole .md tree for offline reading (private repos via token).
On-device, free. I'd love feedback from fellow devs — especially on rendering performance for very large docs. 🙏
