MCP Runtime is a Kubernetes-native platform for deploying and governing MCP servers. Deploy MCP servers with a single command, share them across teams, enforce access policies at the gateway layer, and get built-in observability without managing Kubernetes manifests, ingress rules, or platform plumbing. Built for teams that want to move beyond local MCP experimentation and run MCP servers with proper governance, isolation, and visibility.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Prince, and I've been building MCP Runtime over the last 6–7 months in my spare time.
The idea came from working with MCP servers and realizing that while building them is getting easier, deploying and governing them across teams is still harder than it should be. Most teams either run everything locally or end up stitching together Kubernetes, ingress, authentication, observability, and policy enforcement themselves.
MCP Runtime is my attempt to simplify that.
A few things I'd love feedback on:
* How are you deploying MCP servers today?
* What challenges have you run into around access control and governance?
* What would stop you from using a platform like this?
* What features are missing for production use?
The project is still evolving, and there are areas especially identity, policy, and security that I'm actively learning and improving.
Happy to answer questions, discuss the architecture, or talk about the tradeoffs I made while building it.
Thanks for checking it out!

Who hunted MCP Runtime?
MCP Runtime was hunted by Prince Roshan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
