Math Duel — free browser math battle, no install needed 🧮⚡ ~30 seconds per game. Pick a difficulty, smash the CPU’s HP with fast answers. Chain combos → hit 5 in a row → Fever Mode = ×2 score 🔥 Weekly + monthly leaderboards. PWA-installable on iOS & Android.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Math Duel because I wanted a math practice tool that actually felt fun to pick up — not a worksheet, not a quiz app, but something closer to a game.
The core loop: answer math questions to deal damage to a CPU opponent. Answer faster → higher score multiplier. Chain correct answers → Combo bonus. Hit 5 in a row → Fever Mode kicks in (×2.0 score for 8 seconds). Most games wrap up in under 30 seconds, so it’s easy to play one round and get hooked into another.
There are 4 difficulty levels — Easy covers basic arithmetic, while Extreme throws in arithmetic sequences and Gaussian sums. Weekly and monthly leaderboards reset regularly so there’s always a fresh chance to climb, and the all-time history board tracks every past period permanently.
It runs entirely in the browser — no install, no account required to play. PWA-installable on iOS and Android if you want it on your home screen.
Would love to hear: which difficulty felt most satisfying to you? And if anything felt confusing or off, I’m all ears. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
