Excited to share Material 3 Expressive — Google’s bold new direction for app design!
With vibrant color palettes, dynamic motion, adaptable typography, and customizable shapes, M3 Expressive makes it easier than ever to create rich, personalized user experiences. Whether you’re designing for Android, web, or beyond, this update brings a fresh, modern feel to any product.
Perfect for developers and designers looking to stand out — can’t wait to see what you build with it!
This seems like a really powerful tool that could change app designing! I just launched Energos. ai too! It's an IoT + AI based platform for ops and maintenance. And it definitely would have benefited from a product like this! Feel free to check us out.
Opening Material 3 Expressive felt like stepping into a brighter, more personality-driven branch of the Material family—finally, branding and Google’s design language don’t feel like a trade-off. 🥳
A couple things I’m curious about after the first sneak peek:
Accessibility presets: will there be ready-made color ramps that hit WCAG AA/AAA out of the box? Having guard-rails baked in would save teams a ton of manual tweaking.
Design-tool plugins: Sketch and Figma libraries are great—any plans for a native plugin that auto-updates tokens when Google tweaks the spec?
This looks interesting. We just launched Mukh.1 too - AI agents that take care of your everyday work. Give it a look!
Great to see design systems evolving to balance beauty and usability—Material 3 Expressive looks promising for faster, better product builds.
