master kael is a tutor for making you understand leetcode questions by having an insightful conversation with the users. It asks one question at a time and keeps the statement plus about what you already know, until you reach the answer. Use it online, or run it on your own machine.
I made master kael because LeetCode kept putting me in the same loop.
I open a problem and do not know the first step. I look up the answer. It makes sense while I read it. Then I close the tab and I cannot write it again, or say why it works. The next problem feels new, even when it is the same idea: a hash map, a sliding window, a heap, a graph search.
If I ask a chatbot, it gives me the whole solution at once. Then I have nothing left to think through. master kael stays on one problem. It asks one question and waits. It keeps the statement and what I have already figured out, and it moves only when I do.
The app is Next.js and React, written in TypeScript. Lessons are in MongoDB. Sign-in is Google. Replies come from gpt-oss-20b, OpenAI’s free open-source model, on Groq.
