Market Ticker is a compact macOS menu-bar app for the prices you actually watch. Add stocks, crypto, FOREX and commodities by ticker or name, keep a headline price visible while you work, open the dropdown for your full watchlist, and upgrade for faster updates, a scrolling ticker, and price alerts.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt! I built Market Ticker because I was interested in keeping track of the price of crude oil and gold, but also Bitcoin, Palantir and now SpaceX. I kept having to Google each, which is a little annoying to do all day or have a full dashboard open, when all I wanted was a few live numbers where I was already working. It’s a small macOS menu bar app for stocks, crypto, FOREX and commodities: add a focused watchlist, keep one price visible, open the dropdown when you need the table, and set alerts for price lines. I’d love feedback on the watchlist UX, menu-bar density, and which price or alert workflows you’d expect next.
