mark-it
Bookmark library with folders, highlights and an MCP server
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Bartu, the builder of mark.
What inspired it: my saves were everywhere. X bookmarks, LinkedIn's saved tab, Reddit, and a pile of open browser tabs. When I needed that one thread again, I could never find it. So I built one calm place to keep everything I save.
The problem: every platform has its own bookmark list, and none of them are good at being a library. You can't organize them, highlight them, take notes on them, or search across all of them at once.
How it evolved: mark started as a simple tool for saving X posts. While I was using it every day, I kept pasting links from LinkedIn, Reddit and blogs, so it grew into a library for any link. Then I realized I mostly look things up while coding or writing with Claude, so I added an MCP server. Now you can ask Claude or Cursor "find the pricing thread I saved last month" and get the post back. A small CLI and a REST API came after that.
What you get:
• Paste a link (or press ⌘K) from X, LinkedIn, Reddit or any web page and it's saved with its text and images
• Nested folders, tags, highlights and notes
• A clean reader with 8 themes
• MCP server, CLI and API for developers
I'd love to hear what you save most and which source I should support next. I'll be around to answer questions 🙏

Who hunted mark-it?
mark-it was hunted by Bartu Bozkurt. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
