Tired of biased regional marketing blogs? MapLife offers cold, hard data to help you choose your next hometown. Type your life project in plain text (e.g., "1h from Paris, €400k house budget, low rainfall"), and our AI instantly configures the map. MapLife overlays real estate notary data (DVF), 24-month historical weather, local political affiliations, and precise transit times to the capital. Zero marketing hype, just pure location intelligence.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I started MapLife because moving your family, buying a house, or changing your lifestyle is a massive financial and personal decision. Yet, we are still relying on polished tourism brochures or generic "Top 10 places to live" articles that lack real depth. MapLife is built to be the "anti-office of tourism." It provides rational, objective, and cold data. I wanted to eliminate the fatigue of moving 50 sliders on a form, so you can just talk to the tool in plain text. The AI handles the filtering, while OpenStreetMap layers show you real estate transaction history, actual weather patterns over the last 24 months, and political alignments. We are currently in a validation and dataset-testing phase (starting with France for the MVP). I'd love to get your feedback: 1. Would you use a tool like this to shortlist your next destination? 2. What is the "killer data layer" you absolutely need before deciding to move? Thanks for exploring, looking forward to your thoughts! – Mikaleb

Who hunted MapLife?

MapLife was hunted by 👨‍💻 Michaël Lebeau. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
