Map AI
US neighborhood data, trade areas and sales forecasts
Map AI is an interactive map of the United States built for location decisions. It shows over 100 indicators — income, housing, schools, crime, health, commute, amenities and competitors — down to one-mile cells. Users build drive-time trade areas, compare two addresses side by side, and forecast revenue for a site.
Map AI is a location intelligence platform that helps businesses, real estate professionals and homebuyers evaluate a specific place in the United States.
Location decisions are usually made on partial information. Demographic data is published at county or tract level, traffic counts are often several years old, and competitors have to be counted by hand. The decision ends up resting on averages that do not describe the actual site.
Map AI resolves data to one-mile and five-mile cells across the United States, covering over 100 indicators including income, housing values, school rankings, crime, health, commute patterns and points of interest. Trade areas are built as drive times or radii, and the platform sums data only for the cells inside that shape. Two addresses can be compared side by side on residents, visitors, buying power, traffic and competition. A sales forecast estimates gross annual revenue from the customer profile, visit frequency, average check and nearby competition.
Data comes from the U.S. Census Bureau, OpenStreetMap, Mapbox and Ticon traffic measurements.
Map AI is used by retail site selection specialists, franchise operators, real estate agents, investors and analysts.

Map AI was hunted by Arthur Stepanyan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
