Hi Product Hunt! I’m a filmmaker and producer based in Milan, Italy. I started Mamet because writing a screenplay should feel like part of making a film, not another tool to fight with.
Mamet is a focused workspace for writing and revising screenplays, keeping project materials close to the script, and exporting your work to Fountain, Final Draft (FDX), TXT, or a Mamet backup. It’s built around the writing process, without AI-generated screenplay text.
We’re opening a free private alpha and would love feedback from writers and filmmakers. If you try Mamet, I’d be glad to hear: where does your current writing process get in the way, and what would make Mamet more useful?
Thanks for taking a look!
