I'm the founder of makwab, a startup from Cameroon.
The idea came from a simple observation: every day, people lose keys, wallets, bags, documents and many other valuable belongings. In many cases, these items are found by honest people, but there is no simple way to identify or contact the owner.
makwab solves this problem using unique QR codes linked to secure online profiles. A finder can scan the code and contact the owner without seeing their personal information.
We are starting in Cameroon with the ambition of building a solution that can help people everywhere recover lost belongings more easily.
