The idea came from a simple frustration: creating a professional resume is still surprisingly time-consuming. Many people spend hours formatting documents, rewriting bullet points, and trying to guess what recruiters and ATS systems want to see.
I wanted to build something that helps job seekers create strong, professional resumes faster without needing design skills or resume-writing expertise.
Over the past few months, I focused on making the process as simple as possible: choose a template, generate or improve content with AI, check ATS compatibility, and export a polished resume ready for applications.
Building MakeResume has involved countless iterations, feedback sessions, and improvements, and there's still a lot more I want to add.
