Everyone should be able to make a film. Hi Product Hunt, I'm Mark Qiu, a technical founder focusing on Agent workflow. Make Me a Movie started as VeriStudio at the Backblaze Generative Media Hackathon. Clip generators give you a clip, and the script, the voice, the music and the edit are still your job. I wanted to type one sentence and get the finished thing. So that's what it does. Write a sentence and press **Make the film**. It writes the script, draws each shot, records the narration, films each scene, adds an instrumental music bed and cuts a short film of 15 seconds to 2 minutes, in widescreen, vertical or square. If one scene is off, open the film in Pro and fix just that scene, without starting over. Three things I cared about: - **Pay per film.** Credit packs start at $5, and there's no subscription. A one-minute film is about $10–14 in credits, and you see the estimate before it starts. If a generation fails, its credits come back automatically, unless you chose to go ahead with a photoreal style after the warning. - **It works from Claude, Claude Code and ChatGPT (developer mode).** Add one address and ask for a film. The assistant shows you the quote, and nothing is charged until you approve it. - **You can check where it came from.** Every image, clip, voice track and finished film it makes comes with a SHA-256 provenance manifest anyone can check on the public verify pages. On a shared film, press *Check where every shot came from*. Limits, so there are no surprises: - A 60-second film takes roughly 10 minutes. - Films are 720p. - People come out illustrated, painted or stylised, not photoreal. - Films are stored at public web addresses, even if you never share them. - New accounts get 150 welcome credits. That covers writing a script and drawing the shots, but a film with video needs a credit pack. I haven't promoted it before today, so you're among the earliest people to try it. I'd love your feedback on three things: 1. Did the film match the sentence you typed? Where did it drift? 2. Is paying per film clearer than a monthly plan, or would you rather subscribe? 3. If you use Claude or ChatGPT, would you make films from there? Does the quote-then-approve step feel right? I'm here all day and will answer every comment.
