Majlis
Guest lists, seating and WhatsApp invitations for the majlis
Majlis is an event planner built for Gulf hospitality: Arabic-first, and made for how gatherings are actually hosted in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and across the region. Build the guest list, arrange the seating of the majlis itself, and send a designed invitation card straight to WhatsApp: Sadu weaving, a majlis arch, the eight-point star, or a plain card for condolences. Runs in Arabic, English, Urdu and Hindi, and the card can go out in any of the four, so it matches the guest, not the phone.
I'm Andrii, a designer and developer in Dubai. Majlis came from watching hosts here manage a 200-guest gathering in a WhatsApp group and a notes app. Western event tools do not know what a majlis is, let alone that the seating has rules. This one does. The invitation cards are drawn, not templates, and the Urdu and Hindi versions exist because the people sending them are not always the people hosting. Tell me what your last gathering looked like to organise.

Who hunted Majlis?
Majlis was hunted by Andrii. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
