I'm Niklas, a practicing architect (buildings, not code) in Helsinki. I started building mainiø in March, during a slow period in construction, and submitted it to the App Store about 14 weeks later.
The idea came from watching people around me at work use AI tools every day without really trusting the outputs. They weren't beginners. They just didn't have a reliable way to know when to trust the result, when to push back, and when to ignore it entirely. That gap felt more worth solving than teaching people more prompts. Mainiø is the attempt to close it. Short daily missions, real work scenarios, a bit of gamification to make the habit stick. The focus is on decision-making with AI, not just using it faster.
A couple of things I'm genuinely curious about from this community: do you verify AI outputs before acting on them at work, or do you mostly trust them? And is the confidence gap something you've felt yourself, or mostly seen in others?
