I'm Andrea, maker of MadeWithWhat.
Every time I evaluated a new stack, I kept asking the same question: "What can I actually build with this — and what have others built?" GitHub search gives you needles in a haystack; awesome-lists go stale. So I built the answer I wanted.
MadeWithWhat is a network of "Made with ___" galleries — curated catalogs of the best open-source projects for 69 technologies, built from real GitHub data and refreshed daily.
How it works:
🔍 Every gallery pulls live repository data from GitHub — stars, activity, languages — no manual curation lag
🗂️ Projects are ranked by popularity and classified into browsable categories (e-commerce, dashboards, dev tools, UI kits, starters…)
🌐 Each technology gets its own focused site: madewithlaravel.com, madewithnuxt.com, madewithreact.com, and 66 more — spanning frameworks, frontend, backend, CMS/CRM, commerce, and AI/LLM
📚 Alongside the galleries: curated video tutorials, editorial deep-dives, and per-stack RSS + newsletters
🚀 Maintainers can submit their project to any gallery — free, and a nice backlink
Who it's for: developers picking or learning a stack, teams evaluating whether an ecosystem is mature enough ("is Nuxt ready for commerce?"), and open-source maintainers who want their work discovered.
