Macropod records macros across keyboard, mouse, joystick, and HOTAS, then replays them through a virtual joystick (vJoy) so games see the output as a real device. Per-game cloaking via HidHide. Profiles auto-switch based on the foreground game. Built for sim pilots and anyone tired of chaining keyboard macros with bash scripts.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Jay. I built Macropod because AutoHotKey couldn't properly handle my HOTAS and I got tired of bridging it through JoyToKey and shell scripts to make a single macro span keyboard, mouse, and stick. Features that matter to me, day to day: - vJoy integration: games see your macros as a real joystick (vJoy is free, separate install) - HidHide integration: cloak your physical stick from a specific game when you want the macro to fully drive input (HidHide is also free, separate install) - Profile auto-switch by foreground game - HID Shift Translator for VKB-style modifier states Windows 10/11, portable, no installer. $50 CAD one-time, two-device license. Happy to answer anything. Particularly interested in macro setups you've struggled to build elsewhere.
