An alternative to Bartender and Ice and Sanebar - one more contestant in the attempt to fix the notch-monster problem. This time not a sub-menu but simply scrolling in the bar is possible - with a little fun twist :)

The Notch was covering most of my daily drivers - and it made me wonder... Bartender changed owner and got somehow shady in the process. Ice and others stopped working and SaneBar drove me "insane". Meanwhile my notch was still eating half my menu bar. So I built the thing I actually wanted: scroll over the menu bar, hidden icons slide out. No second bar, no tray, no popover. Same bar you already have, just scrollable. Two-finger scroll to reveal notch-hidden icons Pin the ones that should never move Drag to arrange the rest Clicks and menus work exactly like before Free, no subscription, no account, nothing leaves your Mac As a funky extra: scroll, and a small creature I call "the notch monster" crawls out of the notch and eats them icons. Scroll back and it burps them out again. Scrub too fast, it gets dizzy. (Turn it off if you're a serious person). Needs Accessibility + Screen Recording (that's how the mirror strip is drawn — nothing leaves your Mac). Would love to know how it behaves on your setup — external monitors and huge icon collections especially.
