Top comment

Hello Guys! I built MacDNS to make it easier to control DNS on your Mac, with blocking for ads, trackers, and malicious domains in a native menu bar app. It works at the system level, so DNS blocking covers apps as well as browsers. You can choose your DNS provider, encrypt DNS queries, and customize blocking categories and exceptions. The goal is to keep everyday use simple while giving you room to fine-tune things. If you give it a try, I’d love to hear how setup went and whether anything caused trouble with your sites or apps. I’ll be here answering questions and using your feedback to improve MacDNS.
