My name is Joost. Most of my life I have developed the old-fashioned way (programs and websites). For the last six years, I have used only no-code tools, and recently I found Macaly. I have been surprised by how capable this environment is in building websites and programs. Initially, I was a bit worried about the editability of the code, but to be honest, I haven't looked at the code at all. You just tell Macaly what you want, and then you just tell it what to add, what to change....and it happens. I have connected Macaly with Claude and I am building quicker (and better) than ever before.
So yes, for me it is a no-brainer to keep on using these tools.

How does it decide which parts should be automated and which parts should stay in the developer’s control?
I have been manually tweaking CSS and setting up third party analytics for every new MVP so having automated SEO and tracking built in saves so much setup time.
The part I am curious about is how much control developers have over the generated code after the first version is created.
I like that you can use subscriptions you already have. One less monthly charge to think about.
How does Macaly manage global style consistency when the AI generates new dynamic components on existing pages?
Not having to set up the database and hosting separately would save me a fair bit of hassle.
