the "close slowly and it holds halfway, reverse and it unfolds exactly as it closed" detail is what sold me in the review - that's a much harder thing to get right than a one-shot close animation, since it means the whole effect is continuously driven by sensor position rather than triggered once. the iPhone Duo fold comparison makes sense as the reference point.
