I built Lyrks because finding good lyrics in my own languages was harder than it should be.
I’m a music fan and developer. I kept looking up Kannada and Hindi songs and kept hitting the same walls: cluttered pages, weak translations, and almost no respect for regional languages. English-first sites worked fine for chart hits. Everything else felt like an afterthought.
So I started small — a personal project to organize the lyrics I actually cared about. That’s when the real problem became obvious: people don’t just want text on a page. They want search that works, artist context, trending discovery, and a reading experience that doesn’t fight them.
Lyrks grew from there. We added multilingual lyrics hubs, artist pages, Billboard charts, and a contribution flow so the community can fix and improve lyrics over time. The product philosophy stayed the same: lyrics first, clean UI, no noise.
This launch is the next step — putting a real name on something that started as a frustration with existing lyrics sites. We’re building Lyrks as a distinct home for multilingual music discovery, not just another lyrics mirror.
