So, A while back as I was on my way to office I was listening to some song and the singer did that thing where they sing really low that you can't make out what they say, so I thought it would be great if I could also check the lyrics once in a while as I am listening to the song, thing is the apps that are available right now which can show me lyrics all either run on the foreground (I would have to unlock my phone) or consume a ton of battery. So I started building LyricGlow to display the lyrics of the currently playing song on my lockscreen as sort of an AOD mockup, If you have an amoled screen then you would save battery because of the dark background and right now it sort of looks like a complete AOD plugin itself. I am not very great at words so its hard to explain but just give it try you will understand.
It started as that one simple idea, but beta testers kept asking for more, so it now also has widgets, music player controls, weather, and photo widgets on the AOD — most of which came straight from their feedback.
It's up for pre-registration now. As a thank-you, everyone who pre-registers gets all features free — this is my first app and honestly I just want the early folks who believed in it to have everything for free.

Oh and also there’s no data collected, just fetching your song lyrics (works offline too once lyrics are fetched, and also no ads), there is just google login because I wanted to keep list of users who signup early to ensure they still keep receiving all of the yet to come features for free too.
