Luna Modeler 14 adds three things: Navigator for easy schema exploration. Select any object in a diagram and instantly see everything connected to it. A folder-based format that saves your model as one small YAML/JSON file per object, so git diff finally shows exactly what changed in a schema. And a full headless CLI that reverse-engineers, diffs, and generates SQL/docs/diagrams from a terminal or CI pipeline. Also new: line points, orthogonal line routing, single-file reports for easy sharing.
Hey hunters - we've been building Luna Modeler as an offline data modeling tool for relational databases and we just shipped version 14.
The three things I'm most excited about: Context Lens (select any object in a huge diagram and instantly see just what's connected to it — no more untangling 200-table spaghetti), a folder-based project format so your data model finally diffs cleanly in Git, and a headless CLI so reverse-engineering, schema comparison, and doc generation can run in a CI pipeline instead of a GUI.
Would be grateful for feedback on Context Lens specifically - that's the newest idea in this release. Try the 14-day trial (no card needed).
