I built Lubb because I wanted a calmer way to fall asleep when I’m alone or missing someone. Most heartbeat and sleep apps are either sound libraries or trackers. This is a dedicated heartbeat companion built around the iPhone’s Taptic Engine, so it feels physical instead of like another noise app.

the thing id try first is letting the pace descend instead of sitting on one number. when im actually lying there awake my pulse is nowhere near a sleeping rate, so a slow steady beat under the pillow reads as wrong rather than calming and i end up listening to the mismatch instead of drifting off. if it starts close to where you already are and then walks itself down across the first few minutes, it has something to pull against. the ten minute trial worries me for the same reason. on the nights id actually reach for this, im nowhere near asleep at minute ten.
Not what I was expecting to see in today’s list but very creative. Especially for all the founders pulling all nighters 😄
