LoreAPI is an OpenAI-compatible endpoint built for roleplay and creative apps: up to 1M tokens of context, ~100 tokens/s, zero content filters, and drop-in support for SillyTavern, Janitor AI, Agnai or any OpenAI client. Just swap the base_url. Benchmarks above big-tech models on agent and coding evals. Free to start, plans from ~$2 for 200 credits. Built and hosted in Brazil.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built LoreAPI after hitting a wall building a roleplay app: every API I tried either filtered the story, forgot the plot after a few messages, or charged like a flagship.
So I shipped my own: an OpenAI-compatible endpoint with up to 1M tokens of context (your whole plot stays in memory), ~100 tokens/s, and no content filters. Drop-in for SillyTavern, Janitor AI and Agnai — change one line, the base_url, and you're in. On published evals it trades blows with — and often beats — big tech models on agent and coding benchmarks, at a fraction of the price.
Free to start, plans from ~$2 for 200 credits. Built and hosted in Brazil on a shoestring (it currently runs on one little device 😄).
I'd love your feedback: what would make you switch your app's base_url today? 🙏
