Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Sevde, the solo developer behind LoomLab.
The idea came from a simple frustration: I wanted to learn new skills but couldn't always afford lessons and I knew I had skills others wanted to learn. I thought, why can't we just exchange? But I couldn't find an app that did this properly.
So I built one.
What started as a simple matching concept evolved into something much bigger - a platform for genuine human connection. Because the real problem isn't just "I need a tennis coach." It's "I want to meet interesting people who share my passions."
The technical journey was intense. Custom fuzzy matching algorithm, real-time Firestore listeners, StoreKit 2 subscriptions, Sign in with Apple - all built solo. And 6 Apple rejections before finally getting approved 😅
Every rejection taught me something. Every bug fixed made the app better. And now it's live.
I built LoomLab for people who believe everyone has something valuable to teach. You just need the right person to learn from.
