logtempo first launched on iOS over a decade ago. Over time I added an Android app, backend infrastructure and a web reporting platform, and grew it to more than 1,000 users before pausing to rethink how it could reach product–market fit.
In 2026 I rebuilt it from the ground up and relaunched it, with a new native iOS app, a web dashboard for reporting, and a new API and subscription platform. Software design and development look very different now than they did when logtempo started, but the philosophy behind logtempo is still current. Professional designers and developers, freelance or otherwise, still need a practical way to record where their time goes. Quick, simple two-tap time logging is still what logtempo is about, and it matters as much as ever, if not more.
