Who hunted logostream?
logostream was hunted by Tobias Fladung. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hey Product Hunt! I'm Tobias, and I built logostream as a solo side project
that grew into a proper product.
The origin story is embarrassingly relatable if you've built anything in
travel tech: I needed airline logos for a flight tool, spent half a day
scraping SVGs from Wikipedia and airline websites, got burned two months
later when logos changed, and thought — this should just be an API.
So I built the API I wanted.
What logostream gives you:
1,100+ airline logos in multiple variants (transparent, white, icon, tail livery, 3D tail)
600+ airport logos
2,700+ aircraft liveries
Structured data for 2,000+ carriers and 41,000+ airports
38,000+ routes
Embeddable route maps
Aviation News
All under one API key. REST, standard Bearer token auth, nothing weird.
Why it's different: Most aviation APIs are either data-only or logo-only.
The ones that do both have opaque enterprise pricing and no self-serve.
logostream has a free tier — 20,000 requests/month, no credit card — so
you can build something before deciding if it's worth paying for.
What I'd love feedback on:
1. Coverage — what's missing for your use case?
2. Pricing — Startup $40/mo, Pro $1,800/yr. Feel right?
3. Docs — anything confusing?
Happy to answer anything. — Tobias
