While starting my own basketball research I noticed a lot of players had outdated or incorrect positions associated with them in the NBA game logs. I also found it incredibly difficult to get access to any amount of NBA data for download so that I could play around with it for my own research. I wanted to address both of these with Locksmith by providing uniquely accurate NBA data and allowing users to conveniently save parts of it.
Sick!!! Sports need a better analytics layer if it is ever to mature as an asset class.
