Top comment

LiveDrop started with a simple frustration: at events, the moments people want to remember are spread across dozens of phones, and the best photos often disappear into private camera rolls. I wanted a way for guests to share memories without downloading an app, creating an account, or figuring out a complicated upload flow. So we built a QR-first experience: guests scan, take or upload a photo, and see it appear on a shared live wall moments later. The product evolved from a basic gallery into a real-time event layer with host moderation, branding, and full-collection downloads. We’re building LiveDrop for weddings, conferences, parties, meetups, and any gathering where the room should feel connected. If you’ve hosted an event, what has been the hardest part of collecting and sharing everyone’s photos?

Who hunted LiveDrop?

LiveDrop was hunted by Yuhan Fu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
