Littlebird is an AI assistant that already knows your work. Every answer, draft, and plan is more relevant because it has the context behind it. It sees what's on your screen and transcribes your meetings, building a private memory of your projects and priorities. Littlebird connects the dots across all your apps and conversations, giving you answers grounded in your actual work. No integrations required. If you've seen it on your desktop, Littlebird has too. Just ask.

I got connected to the Littlebird team through @joshconstine. Their approach to the never-ending pursuit of obtaining more context for AI is bold...!

Unlike Instagram after 15 years, most AI tools struggle to know things about me. I do use some memory tools here and there, but until Apple revamps Siri, what has the most digital context about me (besides my phone)? My laptop, duh!

Which is why Littlebird "sits" on my shoulder, reading my screen (capturing only text, not screenshots) and listening to my meetings, so that when I ask it something, it already knows what I've been working on.

And before you ask: yes, you can exclude specific apps if you don't want Littlebird nosing (beaking??) into all your stuff. In fact, you control exactly which apps it can see, and can pause or delete any data it's collected. It’s SOC 2 certified, if that's important to you. And unlike GitHub, they never train on your data.

Give it a few days and ask it “what have I been working on this week?” Come back and tell us how much Littlebird knows!

Comment highlights

Been using Littlebird for a few days now and it's already changed how I work. The thing that actually surprised me is how it answers questions with context I forgot I even had. No integrations to set up, no syncing headaches. It just works. Most "AI assistants" feel like a smarter search bar. Littlebird feels more like a second brain that was actually paying attention. Big congrats to the team on the launch - excited to see where this goes!

Sounds really cool! Is there integration between devices, or is it only a desktop application?

Day one done and I'm super stoked. Going to buy a month and play with it to check my how I actually use it before sharing it on my newsletter, but my gut feel is that it's going to win as it's a passive tool, and all my other AI is active i.e. it knows what I remember to tell it. The other problem with AI is that there are too many islands, what I need is a better boat. My guess is that this is where LB is going to shine.

My own personal memory? LFG.

Congrats Littlebird team! @triptu @namanshah @michaelsand

Incredible product! Worthy of the prestigious 5 🍕 rating. I love this app. I’ve been trying many, the implementation is phenomenal and not a resource hog like some others. The memory feature and the system prompt feature are wonderful. You can rename your LittleBird and it remembers. The meeting recognition feature with recording prompt sold me. Non invasive, doesn’t have to join your meeting, just sits there and records.

I can’t say enough good things about LittleBird!

Most AI assistants are brilliant but total strangers. You have to explain yourself every single time - your projects, your context, your life. Littlebird is different. It already knows I'm deep into writing an espionage thriller, which subscription I was debating canceling, and which project ate most of my week - because it was there. I asked it things like "which project took most of my attention today?" and "what should I celebrate from this week?" and got answers that were genuinely, almost eerily accurate. As a writer and former intel analyst, I've tried every productivity tool out there. This is the first one that feels less like software and more like working with an actual partner. Congrats on the launch - well earned.

So far, one of the most useful things I did with my computer in a long time: install and use Littlebird.

Love using the product to step through a bug, have it generate a template linear ticket with steps to reproduce and feed it to claude to fix it

I have Claude wired into my Notes, iMessages, Word docs, and probably my coffee maker at this point. Truly unhinged AI setup. And I still spend the first five minutes of every session explaining who I am to a machine that helped me yesterday. So when Littlebird says "we passively watch your screen and build context over time" - yeah, I installed it immediately with zero hesitation. Been running a few hours. Already knows more about my week than I've typed into any chatbot. Look, I don't know what it says about me that I'm most excited about an AI that just... pays attention. But here we are.

I am using Littlebird to track my time and increase productivity. It is refreshing to see daily summaries and get reminders on things that may have slipped past my calendar.

I have been using Littlebird for a few weeks now its been excellent, I work at speed on multiple project and it just follows along and then give me reminders and prompts to follow the next day or week. Initially I considered cancelling CHATGPT in favour of Littlebird however I now I see the different uses of them both together and have enjoyed using them in tandem to make my experience and efficiency even better, its really like having a PA again. Love it.

Would love a little "context" setting on what you think Rewind/Limitless, Highlight, etc got wrong - or at least where you feel you want to focus that scratches an itch for you all in particular.

And personally, I'd be much more inclined to use this with an early MCP/API so I feel like i can use your surface area but you'll earn my continued usage vs locking me in immediately.

Been using Little Bird for a couple months. Love it! So helpful. Personally, filled the gap of Limitless' "Rewind" product after Meta acquired them.

I've used LittleBird for only a two full days and already have a great sense of what I've been up to in that period after a simple prompt to sum up my week. My "Week in Review" was spot on and identified what I'd worked on and accomplished. I also had it running in the background listening into day-long virtual expo, taking a remarkably accurate transcription of the sessions and a useful summary of each. I can't wait to see what else I can do as I learn more.

Been using LB for 3 months now. It’s my 2nd brain and favorite ai app easily.

The magic of LittleBird is recalling that obscure tip your co-worker told you two weeks ago on a video call on how to fix an issue to get you unstuck.

Instead of bugging them again, just ask littlebird and get unblocked.

Alap here, cofounder of Littlebird. Since my colleagues have spoken about the vision and product I figured I would give you a key use case I found particularly powerful-

I've been writing The Global Intelligence Crisis over the past few weeks and have gone through many edits with a human editor, friends and LLMs. I wanted to find previous versions of a paragaph to see how my thinking had changed over time while I wrote in Gdocs and Word across many versions. Littlebird faithfully captured each version and allowed me to essentially do a meta track changes over multiple weeks across platforms to see how my thinking and writing had changed. Huge help as a true thought partner over time. Check it out-

I've been using LittleBird for a few weeks now. I find it unique in the extent to which it understands me and my behavior and can help me get a handle on my work across multiple projects and priorities.

As someone who routinely juggles multiple quite unrelated tasks, I have a high context-switching cost, and it's easy for things to get lost. LittleBird is remarkably capable of helping me step back, see where my time is allocated, understand the most important things I may not have gotten to, and help me regain context on some task or email or interaction that has left my short term memory.

It's like a personal memory and context prosthesis. Mainstream LLMs are great for increasing my ability to learn things that are public knowledge. LittleBird boosts my understanding of my own work, and helps me pull signal out of the noise and clutter..
