Hi Product Hunt, I built ListSweep because email verification pricing stopped making sense to me. Verifying a million addresses costs $3,199 at ZeroBounce and $79 here, and the underlying work is the same ten checks: syntax, typo detection, disposable domains, role accounts, MX, a live SMTP handshake, catch-all detection, spam traps. Two things I'd rather be upfront about than have you find out later. First, our benchmark page publishes no accuracy number. Every verifier claims "99%+" and almost none say how they measured it. We have the methodology and the corpus published, but not a run we'd stand behind yet — so the page says so instead of inventing a figure. Second, we found a real bug in our own engine last week and it's worth knowing what it was. Our SMTP probe introduced itself with a domain that doesn't resolve on the public internet, so Cisco and other strict receivers rejected it before the address was ever checked — and we reported that as "could not connect". Real, valid addresses came back as unknown. It's fixed, and the engine now tells you when a failure is ours rather than your list's, because those need completely different responses from you. There's also SweepWin, a free Windows app that runs the same engine entirely offline, for lists you can't upload to a third party at all. No account, no upload, no charge.
