I'm a frontend engineer, and like a lot of you, I spend way too much time on LinkedIn. 😅
One thing always drove me crazy: you write a thoughtful post, hit the editor, and... you can't even make a single word bold. Everything looks flat. Your best line just disappears into the feed.
So I built LinkedIn Formatter to fix it. 🛠️ It adds a little formatting toolbar right inside the LinkedIn post editor - bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, lists - and it all actually renders in your published posts (no weird hacks, just clever Unicode magic ✨).
It even auto-saves your drafts, so you'll never lose a post halfway through writing again. 💾 This started as a personal itch and turned into something I genuinely use every day. Putting it out here feels a little scary, honestly. 🙈
