I built LingCode because coding stopped being the hard part.
Agents collapsed the 80% of my week that used to be writing code. What was left turned out to be the whole job: signing, notarization, App Store Connect forms, screenshots, DNS, finding somewhere to host a download link. I'd get an app working on my machine in a weekend and then lose two weeks to the part nobody demos.
I counted it once. A first iOS release is 29 discrete steps — enrollment, certificates, an API key you can download exactly once, an app record no API can create, two questionnaires, export compliance, then archive, upload, attach, submit. Nine of those repeat on every single release. None of them is hard. They live in systems that don't know about each other, and not one tells you whether it actually worked.
That last part is what I actually built the product around. Shipping tools lie by omission: an upload exits 0 while your build sits in Missing Compliance and reaches literally nobody. So the nine repeating steps became two commands, and each verifies the artifact rather than the exit code.
Last week it caught me trying to ship a build made with a beta Xcode — which uploads fine, passes TestFlight, and gets rejected at review days later.
It's a native Mac app: editor, debugger, terminal, simulator and agents across 15 providers in one place. Mac-first on purpose — Apple's is the least automated, most punishing part of shipping.
