Lined Press
Complete journals for Amazon KDP, written for your niche
Make complete low-content journals for Amazon KDP: gratitude, prompt and planner journals written for your niche, laid out to KDP print rules. Interior and cover PDFs, free preview.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Vikas, the maker of Lined Press.
Why I built it: a lot of people sell journals and notebooks on Amazon KDP, and the hard part is never the idea. It’s everything after it: writing 120 pages of prompts that don’t repeat, then fighting KDP’s margin, bleed and spine rules until the upload finally passes. The tools I tried either sold blank templates or locked you into a yearly plan paid in “credits”.
So Lined Press does the whole book from one sentence:
Describe your reader, e.g. “a gratitude journal for new moms: calm, warm, short prompts for tired evenings.”
Claude writes it: an intro, themed sections, and a different prompt for every day.
Download an interior PDF and a full-wrap cover (back, spine, front), laid out to KDP’s print rules for your size and page count.
You can preview any book free, with no card. Plans are simply monthly: $0 / $9 / $19.
Feedback that would help me most:
If you publish on KDP: does the output look like something you’d actually sell? What would you change first?
Which niches should I add next? There are 11 examples on the Journal ideas page right now.
Anything confusing in the studio, I want to hear about it.
I’ll be here all day answering every comment. Thank you for taking a look 🙏
