I kept wondering: what if "Here's looking at you, kid" could lead to a line from a completely different film that shares the same feeling? Movie quote sites are search engines — you type a phrase, you get a phrase. I wanted to see how lines echo across cinema.
So I embedded 34,908 classic quotes with pgvector, built a hybrid semantic search to pick the next line, and chained them into a relay. The next quote is never obvious — it shares the soul, not the words.
