Hey Product Hunt, I'm Karim.
Checking the Bitcoin price meant opening a tab I didn't mean to open, and losing ten minutes. Checking the fee meant a block explorer and a sat/vB number that tells you little on its own. LilMoon puts both where you can already see them.
It's a tiny Mac app that sits in your menu bar or floats on your desktop and shows:
- The live BTC price with a 24h sparkline, from Binance, Kraken or Coinbase, in 18 currencies
- The latest block, mempool backlog, next difficulty retarget and the halving countdown
- Fees in sat/vB and in your own currency, colored by where they sit in their recent range
The fun part is how it looks. There are twelve presets (Terminal, Synthwave, Night City, Seaglass, glass with no panel at all...) and sixteen effects like frost, glow, scanlines, a CRT curve or a glitch on price moves. Every color, font, size and corner is yours to change.
Alerts work on the price, the 24h change or the fees, each with its own cooldown, so a market sitting on your number doesn't notify you all afternoon.
