LHT DMS is a desktop app for litigation lawyers, built by a practising barrister. It downloads every document filed in your cases from the court e-filing portals (CE-File in England & Wales; EFS and EKSS in Malaysia), numbered in filing order and dated. The portals allow this only by hand, one document at a time. It also builds paginated, bookmarked court bundles and the index in Word, and writes bundle page numbers back into your skeleton argument. Runs on your computer. No generative AI.
I am a practising barrister, and I built LHT DMS for my own practice because I could not find software that did what I needed.
Before a hearing I keep the documents exactly as they stand in the court file, numbered in filing order and dated, so that I never refer to a document that was never filed. Doing that by hand, one download at a time, left my folder behind the court file. LHT DMS now does it at one click. It also builds the bundle and writes the page references into my skeleton argument.
It is free for all of 2026, on Windows and Mac. I would welcome questions and comments from anyone who prepares court bundles.
