Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the solo founder of LevelUp Lore. I'm a 20-year-old Data Science student at UWA in Perth, Australia, launching my first product today after 3 months of nights + weekends.
The problem: I always craved the meaning and excitement video-games brought to often mundane ideas (like farming simulator, rust etc. ) with all their characters, chapter, coins and cutscenes.
Since AI educational tools have become more and more abundant, I always wondered why no one had applied those same game development techniques to study, so I built it, literally out of necessity.
What I built: LevelUp Lore turns any lecture (PDF/DOCX/text) into a playable RPG. AI generates the characters, quizzes, dialogue, and artwork from your actual course content. 10 minutes from upload to game.
Why I'm launching on PH: I've been taking inspiration from here for a few weeks reading other founders' stories. Today I'm getting to be on the other side, which is genuinely surreal. Would love your feedback.
What's not great yet (I'm honest about this):
• Character portraits occasionally feel generic for niche subjects
• STEM diagrams have the occasional labelling error
• Mobile gameplay works but desktop is better
What I'm hoping to learn from today:
