I'm really skeptical about relying on AI for website monitoring, it feels like giving too much control to a system that might miss crucial changes or send false alerts, as a developer I'd rather trust my own codes to do this kind of work, not sure if anyone else feels the same 🤔
This is a really interesting concept, I can immediately think of a lot of use-cases that need exactly this tool. I recognize that there is some text diffing going on, but how does it handle visual diffs with sites that are quite dynamic with videos, animations or even responsive layouts that change the layout of the page? I can imagine there are some frustrating edge cases!
I mean, do we really need another AI tool to monitor websites, feels like overkill honestly, I get it's supposed to help with alerts and stuff but how different is it really from other tools out there, seems a bit much to me, maybe I'm missing something, anyone else feeling this way
