I started this project because an extension I used to customize YouTube switched to a subscription model. I wanted a free alternative that would let me control my own YouTube experience, so I decided to build one myself.
LessTube lets you hide Shorts and other distractions, customize the video grid, blur thumbnails, disable hover autoplay, and much more.
This is my first project that I've taken from the initial idea all the way to publishing, so seeing people enjoy using it and share positive feedback has been incredibly rewarding.
