LeetFlame is a native macOS menu-bar app that shows your LeetCode streak, solved counts, and a flame-gradient contribution heatmap at a glance, no login, no account. It reads your public profile and lights up your menu-bar flame once you've solved today's problem. Free and open source.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a developer grinding LeetCode, and I wanted my streak visible without keeping a browser tab open, so I built LeetFlame, a tiny native macOS menu-bar app. Click the flame and you get your current streak, total solved (with an easy/medium/hard breakdown), and a GitHub-style contribution heatmap rendered on a warm flame gradient. The menu-bar icon stays grey until you've solved a problem today, then lights up, a little nudge to keep the streak alive. A couple of things under the hood I'm oddly proud of: - LeetCode has no public API, so it talks to the same GraphQL endpoint the site uses. No login, it only reads your public profile. - Their "streak" value is actually the *longest* streak of the year, not the current one — so I compute the current streak client-side and bucket days in UTC to match LeetCode's reset. - SwiftUI + AppKit, zero third-party dependencies. It's free and fully open source. One honest caveat: it isn't notarized yet (no paid Apple cert), so on first launch you'll right-click → Open. Would love your feedback, especially on the streak/heatmap logic. Happy to answer anything!

finally a menu bar app that just works without making me sign up for yet another account, the flame lighting up after today's solve is honestly kind of satisfying
