I built Ledgr after running my own small business and experiencing three painful problems every few months: losing receipts, forgetting to send invoices after cash payments, and scrambling to get everything ready for my accountant.
Most apps either do too much (QuickBooks) or too little (basic expense trackers). I wanted something that feels like a daily business companion — tells you where you stand, reminds you what needs doing, and has everything ready when your accountant needs it.
