LedgerHarbor
Convert bank CSV files to review-ready IIF exports locally.
Hey Product Hunt — I’m Ezra, the maker of LedgerHarbor.
I built it after seeing how often a simple bank CSV-to-IIF task turns into manual cleanup: different column names, signed amounts vs. separate debit/credit columns, extra balance rows, and uncertainty before importing.
LedgerHarbor lets you upload a CSV, map the fields, review the output, and export an IIF file locally in your browser. Your source file stays on your device while you work.
A couple honest notes:
It’s designed for reviewing and exporting structured transaction CSV data—not every bank export or accounting import is guaranteed to behave the same.
Please review the export and keep a backup before importing it into accounting software.
Standard is a one-time $19.99 purchase, not a subscription.
I’d really value feedback from anyone who handles bookkeeping imports or has dealt with CSV-to-IIF workflows. What part of this process gives you the most trouble?
honestly this looks really useful, the local processing part is a huge plus for privacy. one thing though, would be great if you could save mapping presets for different bank formats so you don't have to set up the columns every single time you import. would save a lot of clicks for anyone dealing with multiple accounts.
