I built Ledger Finance because I was tired of every accounting option being either too expensive, too complex, or too invasive. QuickBooks costs $30–200/month. Wave wants your data on their servers. Spreadsheets don't have dashboards. And everything requires an account just to see if it'll even work for you.
So I asked: what if the whole app was just one file?
Ledger Finance is a complete accounting app in a single HTML file. Download it, double-click it, and you're tracking income, expenses, invoices, and transfers in seconds. No install, no account, no subscription — your data never leaves your device.
The thing I'm most proud of is the running balance column in transactions — every entry shows your exact balance after that transaction so you can spot anything that's off immediately.
