LazyBinger turns your iPhone into a universal remote for 12 TV platforms (Samsung, LG, Roku, Apple TV…) What's different from the dozens of remote apps out there: • Camera auto-pilot: prop your phone facing the TV and it skips intros & recaps for you — on a real TV, not a browser extension • Voice "magic words" that work even with the screen locked • Wake-on-LAN to turn the TV back ON, not just off • A sleep timer for any TV • 100% local — no account, ads or tracking Made for watching in bed
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built LazyBinger out of pure laziness: I kept losing the remote in the sheets, and I was tired of mashing "Skip Intro" every single episode. I wanted my phone to just… handle it.
So it does three things I couldn't find anywhere else:
• Camera "auto-pilot" — prop your phone facing the TV and it watches the screen and presses Skip Intro / Next Episode for you. On an actual TV, not a browser extension.
• Voice "magic words" — mumble "sleepy time" (even with the screen locked) and it sets a sleep timer and turns the TV off.
• Wake-on-LAN to turn the TV back ON in the morning.
It works with 12 TV platforms (Samsung, LG, Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV…) and runs 100% locally — no account, no cloud, no ads. Control stays on your Wi-Fi; voice & camera are processed on the iPhone.
Would love your feedback — which TV brand or streaming app should I tune the auto-skip for next? Happy to answer anything!
