I wanted a quick way to see a risk score for any given company regarding layoffs. This is the tool I wish I had when I was looking for jobs! I spent too long comparing options regarding job security / layoff risk with other tools and this makes that process easier.

Congrats on a flawless product launch! The Layoff Score team has truly impressed us all.

Layoff Score seems highly beneficial for job seekers. Having access to layoff risk scores for thousands of companies is a much-needed, enabling users to make informed career decisions and pursue a more secure path.

Congrats, excellent idea, @dotspencer πŸ‘ Would be great to see the companies with their logo and website. I usually identify the companies by their logo, so it's an excellent way to filter out quickly.

Interesting! Sometimes it can be useful Two ideas for you: 1) You can make themed lists of companies to promote this project. For example "10 companies that have laid off the most people since the beginning of 2023" or "Companies that have never done mass layoffs". It would also be useful to have a guide for those about to be laid off (what are the rules, the benefits, and what else is worth negotiating). 2) We are firing! β€” a special part of the website with the companies who are firing people right now. I wish you all living without firing! :) Good luck!

This is a great app! Thanks for creating it, should be super helpful when checking out potential employers

The filter is based on risk but results are in an unknown order. Are all the companies international? Good job. You may want to add a privacy policy and terms of service (with a disclaimer).

Awesome! How are you measuring this tho? Isn't the market the biggest factor in this. Like interest rates go up, startups lose funding because VCs can get better return else where etc. Isn't this too complex to predict or how do you do it? Im really curious!

Hi Team! Congratulations with the launch. I like your idea, but I have some suggestions about it: 1) If you promote your website like a resource where people can check the companies, better to add any title and description about your product, because if the visitor will enter to your site, they will not understand what is this. 2) I really need the button "Back" on your website after I clicked one of the quick-stickers. 3) I didn't understand what are the stickers under the field with the name. I think better to write "Companies" 4) As for the idea, I think it's not enough data for understanding the risks. Layoffs can be the result of the quality of the employees or HR department work. If we see the companies like Meta, OpenAI and etc, the rate of layoffs can show the real process of bulk layoffs, I agree with this. But if we check the companies smaller, it's not good indicator. I think better to add life-time of the employees in the company or negative feedbacks about the company and etc.
