LayerOne is a teleprompter app that stays invisible on video calls — so you can read your notes on screen while everyone else just sees you talking normally.
You upload your script or talking points, and they scroll on your screen while you're on a call in Zoom, Meet, or Teams. The other person can't see it at all.

We build it because for our previous SAAS we were doing sales calls and it was hard to keep all data in one window while speaking and screen sharing you couldn't refer something. So this overlays sits right before your eyes helping you read and be confident
Nice that the overlay stays hidden from OBS and Zoom, my biggest worry was it showing up in recordings. Used it on a Mac with Chrome and it worked smoothly, though the font size could use a slider for quicker tweaks mid-recording.

Would love to see a hotkey to fade the script opacity on the fly during a live call, useful when you want to glance at someone fully without the text blocking your view of their camera feed.
