Hi Product Hunt, I’m Rene, the maker of LaunchLint. Over the past few months, I shipped several mobile apps with the help of AI coding tools. Building the features became surprisingly fast. Getting those apps ready for Apple and Google was a very different experience. I kept reaching the same awkward point. The app worked, the build succeeded, and the coding agent considered the task finished. I still had to work out whether the permission messages were specific enough, whether the privacy declarations matched the SDKs, whether the reviewer could access every feature, and whether the store listing still described the version I was submitting. Those checks were spread across the repository, App Store Connect, Play Console, policy documents, and the production build. Missing one small detail could mean another round of review. That is why I built LaunchLint. LaunchLint reviews mobile app projects for three areas: 1. Store readiness for Apple App Store and Google Play 2. Statically detectable mobile security risks 3. Store listing and ASO consistency It currently supports Expo, React Native, Flutter, typical FlutterFlow exports, and Ionic or Capacitor projects. Native iOS and Android projects receive a more limited configuration review. The scanner does not just return generic warnings. Each finding includes repository evidence, the affected file, the reason it matters, and a concrete task that can be handed to Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor. I also built an MCP connector, so developers can start a LaunchLint review from their existing coding workflow and bring the resulting fix tasks back into the agent. There was one boundary I did not want to cross. LaunchLint never installs dependencies, runs builds, or executes code from a customer repository. It performs static analysis only. Anything that requires runtime proof remains clearly marked for manual testing. I’m currently looking for honest feedback from people preparing real mobile apps for release. I would especially like to know: • Which findings are genuinely useful? • Which findings feel unclear or too cautious? • Is the evidence specific enough to trust? • Can you give the generated task to your coding agent without rewriting it?
